The IP coordinating team visits Zimbabwe

The IP coordinating team visited Zimbabwe on 1st-4th August 2011 to monitor the implementation of the IP program, including sensitizing the key stakeholders in the intellectual property rights institutions. Mr. Benson Zwizwai Zimbabwe Chapter Coordinator coordinated these meetings.

ATPS issues grants for case studies in Traditional Knowledge Systems & Increasing Access to benefit Sharing of Intellectual property in Africa

The ATPS, under its IP Program,  has issued grants to 5 researchers to conduct case studies in Traditional Knowledge Systems & Increasing Access to benefit Sharing of Intellectual property in Africa.The purpose of the studies is to build a body of knowledge in areas of TraditionalKnowledge, Traditional cultural expressions and Access and Benefit Sharing.
